Central Bank of Egypt announced that during the first nine months of the current calendar year (January/September 2025), remittances from Egyptians working abroad surged by 45.1%, recording an unprecedented inflow of about USD 30.2 billion (compared to around USD 20.8 billion during the same period of the previous year).
On a monthly basis, remittances increased by 30.9% in September 2025 to register around USD 3.6 billion (compared to USD 2.7 billion in September 2024).
